When I was young, I stumbled upon an article about Tibet. That moment sparked a lifelong fascination.
The vast snow-covered plateau, the hardships of Tibetan life, and the unwavering devotion of its people awakened in me a longing for something pure — a spiritual force untouched by the noise of modern life.
And so, the journey began.
Over the past four years, I’ve returned to Tibet time and again. Each journey brought me closer to the land, its kind-hearted people, its sacred temples, and—most importantly—myself. On one unforgettable trip, a revered elder gave me a Tibetan name: Tashi Deki, meaning lotus. I carry that name with humility and pride.
My love for Tibet goes beyond geography. It is a devotion that lives deeper than any hometown or city I’ve called home. This love inspired me to create CityTrend — an online space dedicated to sharing the stories, artistry, and soul of Tibet.
